Last week, we sold our old car(Mahindra Quanto) because it was getting old and parts were breaking or malfunctioning in many places. In its place , we bought another car. Toyota Innova Crysta. We bought the 7-seater top-end variant of the model.
We were only considering to buy a 7-Seater and not a 5-Seater because, according to my dad, we were all growing up and needed a lot of space. Also, we go on road trips very frequently, the most recent one 4 months ago(from West Bengal to Delhi), on which I am going to write a blog post soon. During these road trips, we need a lot of luggage space, as well as a place to sleep. Innova meets all these requirements. The middle and back row fold completely to give a lot of space in which me and my two sisters can sleep comfortably. When these seats are not folded, there is some space remaining behind the back row where we can keep our luggage.
I did not find the back seat cramped. It was perfect for my height. I really liked the blue LED lights on the roof of the car. I found the cooling very good compared to Quanto as there were cooling vents for every row. The glove box also has a cooling vent. The Infotainment screen should have had Android Auto, which would have made it way easier to use. Still, the Infotainment was new for me as none of our old cars have had this. And I found it quite interesting.
Overall, I found Innova a lot more spacious than Quanto. One thing I don't like about Innova is it's looks. Innova looks very bulky from the outside and looks like a rectangular box. That part could have been better. Most of the other features were better than Quanto.
Thanks for the clear feature analysis Jayant! I will bookmark your page so that we can refer to this for our next car consideration. Please keep writing!
