7 shows to watch during lockdown for kids

     In this blog post I decided to list a few shows for kids that you can watch during lockdown when you are getting bored. They are available on either Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, or youtube.

1) Just Add Magic 

Just Add Magic is an amazon original adventurous thriller series about three girls who discover a very old cookbook full of magic. It is about how they deal with the trouble magic gives them and how they help other people with the magic. It has three seasons overall(season 1, season 2 part 1 & part 2, Season 3 part 1 and part 2) and recently a sequel has released called Just Add Magic: Mystery City, which has one season.

2) Sally Bollywood

Sally Bollywood: Super Detective is an American T.V show based on an Indian girl called Sally. She is inspired by her father, Harry Bollywood, who is a detective. Sally has her own detective company called The SBI(Sally Bollywood Investigations) which she runs with her detective partner Doowee McAdam. They both keep solving crimes that happen in their school very often.

3) The InBESTigators

The InBESTigators is a (another) detective show. The Australian television show is about four fifth graders, Ezra,  Maudie, Kyle & Ava, who start a detective agency called The InBESTigators. Maudie does most of the detective part as she is the cleverest, Ezra is better at technology, Kyle does his best to keep the show funny and Ava mostly helps Maudie.

4) The Magic School Bus



The Magic School Bus is about a teacher who teaches science things in a very interesting way.

Every episode, her class goes for a field trip to som new place and they learn something new.

Arnold hates field trips and tries to avoid them every time, but somehow, at the end of the episode 

 he doesn’t think it was that bad.

                                                   5) Brainchild

Brainchild is a netflix original series. Brainchild makes science around us very interesting for

children. Of the many episodes brainchild has, the one that I liked best is the kids versus parents

episode. It has some rounds in which a challenge will be have to be done by both children & adults

on each round. The team that wins most of the rounds will win.

                             6) Carmen Sandiego

Carmen Sandiego is an undercover agent. She had been in Villains International League Of Evil(VILE) 

and has had professional training in thievery. Originally, carmen sandiego was a video game, released in 

1985. Then, in the 1990s, a lot of people started making different shows on the game. Then, in 2019, 

Netflix too released a show on Carmen Sandiego. All the Carmen Sandiego shows are based on 

geography. The teach you about the culture and lifestyle of every place that they go on a mission to. 

Carmen Sandiego's plot is very good and we keep finding answers to mysteries in the show.

                             7) Voltron : Legendary Defender

Voltron:legendary defender is, of all the shows I have watched till now, my favourite. Voltron is the story of 5 'earthlings' who find out that they are the paladins of voltron and have to save the universe from a universal dictator, Zarkon. The good thing about voltron is that it has 8 seasons and about 80 episodes so you can't get bored for many weeks if not months. The last episode of the last season is horrible...... Now, after watching that episode, I regret watching it. Still, Voltron minus last episode is my favourite show
