The Number Devil | A Mathematical Adventure

The Page Turner Maths Book

hello everybody, this is my first blog post!!. I am going to write about a book that I have read called "The Number Devil".

The Number Devil is the story of a boy named Robert who hates maths(Everyone's been there!!). every night he gets nightmares of , either going down an endless slide, falling down an endless ditch, being chased by a giant fish, and many more, until... one night he dreams of a number devil.

The number devil is a devil the size of a grasshopper. "Numbers can do magic."says the Number devil. That is exactly what the he explains. He is sent to teach those children maths who do not like it.The number devil keeps coming every night to teach something new to Robert.
I  really like the book because each dream had a different  setting, which made it easier to remember each function of mathematics the number devil taught. The number devil describes maths in such a fun way that you won't even realise that you're learning maths. The thing that I did not like is that, in the book they have given different names to functions, for example, they call Fibonacci numbers Bonacci numbers, which might make it hard for you if you don't know the real name.

I would give this book 4.5/5 dynamites.
